Anna Kasbarian, Soprano

Artist Bio

A Washington, DC native, Ms. Kasbarian is now based in both DC and New York City. For her undergraduate studies, Ms. Kasbarian attended Miami University of Ohio as well as George Mason University, where she received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.

Ms. Kasbarian has sung with the George Mason Opera as well as performed in choir and opera festivals as well as solo concerts throughout the United States as well as Western and Eastern Europe. Her roles include Poppea in L'Incoronazione di Poppea, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, the Dew Fairy and Sandman in Hansel and Gretel, Yum-Yum in The Mikado, 1st Tourière in Suor Angelica, and 2nd Spirit in Die Zauberflöte. She has also sung the soprano soloist roles for Handel's Messiah, Schubert's Mass in G, and Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, and been a featured soloist in Britten's Ceremony of Carols, Berstein's Mass, and Weill's Street Scene.

Ms. Kasbarian currently studies with Beth Roberts of Mannes College The New School of Music in New York, NY.
